Documentation

PT.Piramid also do the processing for the crew member who is going to be on board. We offer the service to organize the essential documents needed such as:

  • Indonesian Passport
  • Basic Safety Training (BST ) : The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), requires that seafarers be provided with “familiarization training” and “basic safety training” which includes basic firefighting, elementary first aid, personal survival techniques, and personal safety and social responsibility. This training is intended to ensure that seafarers are aware of the hazards of working on a vessel and can respond appropriately in an emergency.
  • Ship Security Awareness Training ( SSAT):
Standard competence to contribute to the enhancement of maritime security through heightened awareness, recognition of security threats and how to respond appropriately, enabling them to undertake their assigned duties under the Ship Security Plan (SSP), in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 74 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A- VI/6 of the STCW Code, as amended.
  • Crowd and Crisis Management ( CCM) :
managing an emergency on board passenger vessels. In the event of an emergency, passenger vessels face additional challenges to that of other vessel types, due to the added risk associated with passengers and therefore, crew need to be more vigilant and show greater awareness of the risks that are faced. To manage behaviour in a crisis, it is first necessary to understand the roles and rules of passengers and crew separately.
  • Seaman’s Book
Seaman Book is a continuous record of a seaman’s service. This document certifies that the person holding is a seaman as per The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended 1995 and 2010.
